Valley Vista Senior Care was formed in 2004 by local senior care system leaders who understand how important independent living is to seniors.  Since that time, Valley Vista has been able to provide quality and trustworthy care to hundreds of clients in the Upper New York State area.

Our Caregivers

Quality care begins with quality Caregivers, and we know that our Caregivers are the best in the business, because we take the time to individually train each and every one of them before they work for our company.  You can be rest assured that a Senior Care Companion has been thoroughly interviewed, screened, and trained, and that they are bonded and insured through our Agency.

All of our Caregivers are bonded and insured through our Agency.  All Caregivers undergo a vigorous screening process, which includes employee and personal reference checks, criminal background checks, drug screening, and a medical clearance by a qualified physician.

Each of our Caregivers completes a required 4-hour training course concerning home, fire and driving safety tips. The course also includes recognizing and acting on a medical emergency, infection control, and proper body mechanics. Each and every Caregiver must pass a written examination before they are eligible to work for our company.

To assure the highest quality service, our Agency performs periodic evaluations of each Caregiver, and offers monthly educational workshops to them so that we can keep them up to date on the latest advances in home companion services as well as monitor their job performance.
